There was no early Premier League match for Aaron Heanue to update us on this weekend, although there was plenty of action to keep us busy.
In the Scottish Premiership, we kept an eye on Hearts v Celtic, with the away side winning 3-1. We also had Bolton v Hull in the Championship, ending in a 1-0 scoreline to the home side. In League One, the Lancashire derby ended as Blackpool 0-4 Wigan Athletic.
We had a look at the qualifying for the Russian Grand Prix – with Nico Rosberg again on pole position after an engine issue for World Champion Lewis Hamilton.
Other sports this weekend included snooker, with the World Championship.
