Friday Night Extra 1.4.16 with guest Marina Bottali Price

Marina & PatrickMy guest this evening was singer/songwriter and speaker Marina Bottali Price. She was an inspiration to listen to as she talked about her work with The Healing Bus ministry. It was sixteen years between when she felt God had told promised her that she should have a ministry with a bus and that coming into being. She talked about praying with people in all kinds of situations. Now they no longer have the bus she is receiving lots of invitations to speak in churches across Essex and across denominations. She also spoke about her childhood and how she came to faith. Finally she ended with the song ‘I love you Lord with all my heart’ which she had written and just recorded as part of a CD being produced to give to people she encounters in ministry. Phyl e-mailed n from north London and commented ‘what wonderful work’. If you want to know more, check out www.thehealingbus.org You can also find the charity and Marina via twitter and facebook.

We remembered Ronnie Corbett and listened to The Two Ronnies Mastermind sketch. Listeners e-mailed in their favourite Ronnie Corbett one liners. We also heard the April Fool’s Day item from Michael Howell posted on the Ingatestone News website about parking on the pavement and pedestrian lanes. We were unsure if the story from Durham Police that they were thinking of recruiting a Police cat was an April Fool. It sounds it. The story about Milton Hall School in Westcliffe on Sea buying a Cessna Citagion fuselage and turning it into a classroom is definitely not an April Fool’s day story!
