Jake Quickenden was live on the show tonight via the telephone to talk about his current single Blindfold.
It comes from his new EP called New Chapter which is available for pre order and will be released on 1st April. It includes 6 tracks and 2 remixes including his next single Can’t Stand the Rain. With an upcoming supporting tour in September, Jake is a very busy guy!
Also talking about his appearance on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here and his love for X Factor, Jake mentions how much he appreciates the show as it has given him a platform to work from. But keep a look out for him on your TV screens as he may be returning! He admitted if he is offered the job to present the Xtra Factor he isn’t going to turn it down!
Following shortly after his X Factor journey ended, he came runner up on I’m A Celebrity and befriended winner Carl ‘Foggy’ Fogarty. Jake got more than he expected from his time in the Aussie jungle as he is currently dating the King of the Jungle’s daughter, Danielle! While talking live on That Friday Feeling he is actually on his way home from a skiing trip with the family and it sounds as though he has fitted right in, though it’s not surprising as Jake is such a lovely, down to earth person.
