So sad to hear of the death of Maurice White aged 74 who was the singer, songwriter & producer of Earth, Wind & Fire – the most popular group in the history of American soul, funk and R&B. In the late 1970s they had five double platinum albums, and a multi-platinum “best-of” collection. Earth Wind & Fire had four Top 10 hits in Britain, including Let’s Groove in 1981.
