Jellied Eels and Rock ‘n Roll – Richie Milton and Bill Farrow aka Bill’nRicky

What a great couple of guys! It’s two years since I last spoke to Richie and Bill on air. They came into studio one today, created a great party atmosphere and performed four great songs for us.

Richie Milton and Bill Farrow

Richie and Bill are currently performing as “Bill’nRicky” performing a mix of songs, old and new as a cockney duo in a Singalong/Rockney/Skiffle style. You can find their website here including the video for “Pulling All The Boozers Down” in which I swear they have Tony Blair playing the double bass! What do you think?

You can listen to this afternoon’s session including four great songs here –

Take a look at a very young Bill Farrow performing with Mable Hillery on BBC 2’s Late Night Line Up with Joan Bakewell in 1967 –

Thanks to Bill’nRicky today. Come back soon guys!
