CHART UPDATE – 19/11/2015
Last week the midweek chart had changed for the first time in 2 weeks finally! It was about time someone knocked Adele off of the topspot after being there for a whole month, right? Adele didn’t go far though… This is what happened in the Official UK Midweek Charts this week!
Number 3
We Saw Fleur Easts DEBUT SINGLE ‘Sax’ storm the charts after her X Factor performance the week before. Number three for Fleurs debut single is a really great position considering the top 2 in this weeks charts are 2 of the biggest artists in the world so Fleur and her team can only see this as a great start to her music career and keep building.
Number 2
So Adele was taken off of the top spot at number one last week after a whole month of being there with her comeback single ‘Hello’. Not that she probably cares, her album is storming the charts and breaking records across the world.. Not only that, this weeks charts we can see atlas 4 of her new album (25) songs in the UKs top 40 already.
Number 1
Justin Bieber being not so sorry knocking Adele off of the topspin this week. His song Sorry has been lingering in the charts for a while but since his album release ‘Purpose’ it’s brought the song straight to the top. This week is going to be a battle between him and Adele to see how many songs they can both get in the top 40 from their brand new albums. Although, Justin Bieber looks as though he could have three songs in the top 10 this week.
