Friday Night Extra 7.11.15 To the background of fireworks…

Tonight’s show was to the background of a firework display at the Brentwood Centre. A number of listeners contacted the show saying they could hear the bangs. Lee suggested it made him feel like he wanted a burger. There was lots of new music amongst the eclectic selection tonight. New tracks from Carrie Underwood, ELO, Zombies, Tom Jones, Dave Stannard and Elvis. We also heard about a reality TV show in Russia where the prize is a job in a factory, a prefab shed in Peckham selling for £950k (what would Del Boy say?) and that the Collins word of the year is bingewatch. This means to watch a large number of tv programmes from one series in a very short time.
