Friday Night Extra 30.10.15 with guests Rob Saggs & Richard Noble.

RobWe had a really busy show tonight. Rob Saggs from Chelmsford CHESS, the charity working with homeless people, talked enthusiastically about the sleep-out happening in the grounds of Chelmsford Cathedral on Friday 27th of November from 10 p.m. Volunteers, being sponsored, will raise money for the charity and also raise public awareness. There will also be a charity auction in the Cathedral Chapter House before the event. More details are on the Chelmsford CHESS website, www.chelmsfordchess.org.
In the second hour our guest was Richard Noble. He has written a book called ‘The writing on the wall – Everyday phrases from the King James Bible’. Richard gave us lots of examples such as the apple of her eyes, lily among thorns and by the skin of his teeth. The book is published by Sacristy Press and is available from them, from on-line retailers and good bookshops. It can also be downloaded as a kindle edition and in other e-book formats. Check out the dedicated website www.thewritingonthewall.org.uk Richard has written the book to raise money for the church he called the A1 church. This is the parish church in Buckden, Cambridgeshire. The spire is visible from the A1,
