WHO ARE CHAPS?

CHAPS is a Men’s Health Charity concerned with all aspects of men’s physical health, mental health and future well-being.  We need such a charity because the health and lifespan of UK men is comparatively so poor, with health statistics lagging behind our neighbours in the western world.

CHAPS raises awareness by producing easy to read booklets, and a “Health Passport” covering all the major men’s health problems.  These are also downloadable from our comprehensive website www.chaps.uk.com.  If men are aware what can go wrong, they may take steps to prevent such problems.

We also run Health Events, usually at football stadia, where we provide FREE testing for heart and stroke risk, aortic aneurysm screening, diabetes, prostate and skin cancer screening.  These events are funded by charity dinners, donations and sponsorship.
