On last week’s show we heard all about buying and selling property from local estate agent, Nicholas Court and about the chap who went to rent a room in East London only to find that it was a shed in the corner of a room. So if we didn’t know before, we do now that property prices are at ridiculously high levels and in London the situation is even more insane. So much so that today we learnt about the 23 year old Hampshire born student at the University of East London who has found it cheaper to commute from Poland than rent locally! His commuting costs plus rent in Gdansk amount to £2100 per annum whilst rent alone in London would come to £11500. How stupid is that?
