Latitude Festival 2015: child.org Charity Concierge

With just a few weeks to go until the completion of the rename from Kenyan Orphan Project, we spoke to the Managing Director of child.org, Thomas Muirhead.20150717_145513 copy

The team from child.org were busy throughout the weekend, initially assisting campers as they arrived in pitching their tents and then serving over 3000 festival goers from breakfast time to late into the evening. The money raised through the weekend was matched by Festival Republic. Thomas spoke about the work of the charity at the festival, with many new friendships being created during the weekend.

With the money raised child.org can continue in their quest to transform the lives of children in the most difficult places in the world. The support of Festival Republic has meant they have access to a good meal, clean water, health services, everything they need to spend a happy, productive day at school.
