Latitude Festival 2015: Neon Waltz

Click below to listen to the interview again:

One of the bands I’ve enjoyed discovering over the last 12 months are Neon Waltz, a young psychedelic indie rock sextet who were tipped by the NME as one of their “50 Brand New Artists Set To Storm 2015”.

They write and play their melodic, sun-drenched, sonic soundscapes in a remote croft, located in the wilderness of Caithness, Scotland. In fact they give their location as John O’Groats and I’m not sure if they ALL come from there, but it’s certainly a long way away from sunny Suffolk.

I caught up with lead singer Jordan Shearer just before their performance at the Lake Stage on Saturday.

Paul with Jordan Shearer

The band’s first official release “First Light” was released in April and big things are due to follow from the band, who are newly signed to Atlantic Records.

You can find out more about the band at their official website, Facebook and Twitter pages.
