Friday Night Extra 17.7.15 with guests Roger London, Peter Ruck and Tim Grant.

On the first night of the Brentwood Festival here at the Brentwood Centre, in the first hour I was joined by Roger London from Pilgrims Hall. Many people pass as they drive out of Brentwood along the Ongar Road. Clearly it is somewhere worth stopping as many interesting thing happen on the large site, including having a Christian bookshop. Roger told us specifically about the three day worship and teaching event happening across the August Bank Holiday weekend, 28th – 31st of August. More info available on www.pilgrimshall.org.uk/voice
Roger also shared with us some of his life in Uganda and about the the life water project to distribute water purification systems to help combat water-borne diseases and dehydration. More info about the project on www.lifewaterkits.org.uk

In the second hour we heard from Peter Ruck and Tim Grant. Peter spoke about The Way Festival at 48 Coxtie Green Road from 19th-26th of July.
This will be a festival of life changing stories, live music from ECHO, drama and bands. www.thewayfestival.com All this happens in a 1500 seater big tent owned by Tim Grant. Tim has taken this tent, and one twice as big, to aid churches with events throughout the UK and Europe. They told us about a recent trip they had been on to an evangelists conference in Russia and found everyone delightful.

Music tonight included tracks chosen by Roger and Peter.
