On today’s programme Margaret Mills told us all about the man known as THE SPIDER MAN of STOCK. He was actually a chap called Charlie who worked as an ostler at the Bear Public House in Stock. His house trick was to disappear up a chimney in one of the pub rooms and then re-appear down a chimney in another room. Meanwhile over in Uruguay news has emerged of a group of medical students who are in hot water after partying with a corpse. Yes, they actually put a drink in a dead man’s hand and carried on partying around him. Well I suppose it gives a whole new meaning to a drink having plenty of body!
