We learnt today that as a direct result of  the imposition of new rulings by the Home Office, the incidence of violent crime in your area could be about to take off. Yes, believe it or not a case of actual bodily harm (ABH) has now been reported after a woman hit a man with a biscuit and another arose as a result of a child brushing another child with a stinging nettle! Whilst police are no longer allowed any discretion in such cases, it strikes me that the mentality of people involving the police for such minor matters, should be called into question.
