The Strawberry Fair is back – see you on Saturday!

Brentwood’s annual Strawberry Fair is taking place on Shenfield Common this Saturday and once again PHOENIX FM is organising the day’s entertainment.

2014-06-22 Strawberry Fair 32 Essex Dance Theatre

There will be live music from X Factor finalists TWO SHOES, MICHELLE WARD and bands from the Hermit Rock School along with performances from Sparkle Dance and the Essex Dance Theatre. Rocky will be entertaining the children and the mayor, Cllr Mark Reed, will be making his customary presentation.

Phoenix FM’s Tony Smith will be holding it all together in the Big Top. Outside, you can find community and craft and gift stalls, and local food and drink galore, with fresh breads, cakes, a hog roast, and bar selling Pimms and locally brewed beer from the Brentwood Brewing Company.

Children can take a ride on small fun fair rides, have a turn on the bouncy castle, see some farm animals, or refine their skills in the many activities on offer.

The classic cars are a great hit with the Dads and the most popular area is of course, the Strawberries and Cream stall.

Look forward to seeing you there!

Saturday’s timetable:

11.30 – 11.50 Hermit band 1
12.00 – 12.20 Michelle Ward
12.30 – 12.50 Two Shoes
