steve will

Joined in the studio by Steve Willoughby, Managing Director of Home Instead Senior Care. Steve came in to talk about the Carer Advice Event on the 12th June, from 12-4pm at the Brentwood Cathedral Hall, Ingrave Road, Brentwood, CM15 8AT. The free event is aimed at offering solutions to many of the challenges faced by family carers in Brentwood, Billericay and Upminster.

DETAILS

The event will provide family carers with free advice and information about the services available to them in their local area. Exhibitors at the event will include: Home Instead Senior Care, Alzheimer’s Society, SEPT (South Essex Partnership Trust), Learning Disability Charities, Crossroads (Carer’s Trust), Brentwood Borough Council, a live-in care company, a care home, a mobility company and others.  All of the organisations attending the event will be offering support, guidance, and legal advice.

Home Instead in Brentwood, Billericay and Upminster specialise in companionship care to older people in their own homes. Steve Willoughby, owner of Home Instead in Brentwood explained, “Events like these are so important because many families struggle to know where to turn to for support and advice, especially so when a crisis hits. There will be a number of local organisations there and everyone involved hopes the event will be both useful and insightful. I am delighted that so many organisations throughout the local community are set to be involved.”

Home Instead Senior Care specialises in providing older people with non-medical care, enabling them to remain in their own homes. Their award-winning service ranges from companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, post-discharge care, personal care, medication reminders, shopping and errands, to Alzheimer’s and Dementia care. Available from as little as 1 hour  a day, seven days a week.
