Featuring Grace Moseley

This week I was delighted to feature a fabulous new artist GRACE MOSELEY who is a 19 year old singer/songwriter from London. ‘Acoustic’ is the first EP released by Grace, taking some of her favourite old classics and putting a completely contemporary spin on them. I played the Michael Jackson hit, ‘Billie Jean’, which has had an entirely new take on it. The Album is available on Amazon and iTunes. www.facebook.com/gracemoseleymusic

I also played my usual mix of fabulous 80’s tracks and also with Easter just behind us, I played some of the adverts for 80’s chocolates! Do you remember the Cabana bar? This short-lived chocolate bar sounds rather grim – it mixed coconut, caramel and cherries – but was clearly the height of exotic sophistication in the 80s.

Or how about the TEXAN bar? I particularly remember my jaw aching after chewing on this for what seemed like ages!

And finally: “The red car and the blue car had a race”. Yes, the good old Milky Way advert from 1989 re-appeared on our screens again during 2009 to celebrate 20 years.
