Miley Models for Madame Tussauds

This week Miley Cyrus’ updated wax version arrived at Madame Tussauds, London.
Back in her Hannah Montana days she had a figure in her likeness made to take part in a Teen Idol event,  where fans could go and sing her songs.
Moving forward in 2014 another model was unveiled in Berlin with her short blonde hear wearing a white leotard and smiling. But now, her famous tongue has made an appearance. Inspired by her sell out The Bangerz Tour, she now sits in London on a neon-pink, tongue-shaped slide, sporting her cropped blonde hair and  is wearing a bejewelled red and white checked outfit and a feather-embellished jacket.

There has been loads of other famous female singers who have had wax works made to stand in many of the Madame Tusauds around the world, let’s take a look at some…

Beyonce
Beyonce has had at least 3 wax works in her time.
In London she has had a figure reflecting her Single Ladies video wearing  a black leotard and also had another created inspired from her ‘Mrs Carter World Tour. Before it was put in the museum this model was revealed in Regent’s Park for  fans to see and have photos with. In 2013 she also had a wax work created to go to the Hollywood Tussards and she was wearing her famous orange and purple dress from the Crazy In Love music video.

Lady Gaga

Gaga has been all over the world and so has her wax work! Having been in the museums in London, Hollywood and Hong Kong, one of her figures included wearing a telephone on her head from her song collaboration with Beyonce entitled ‘Telephone’. But she has also had one in her famous barely-there lace look body by Alex Noble and mask by Philip Treacy.

Leona Lewis
2006 X Factor Winner Leona Lewis has also had a waxwork in London. Her beautiful dress is the actual dress Leona wore at the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics.

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swifts waxwork stood in London during February this year, before being shipped off to Orlando earlier this month. Fans had the chance to pose as cheerleaders with Taylor as she stood in a set which resembled her music video Shake It Off.

Katy Perry
Katy Perry was first revealed in Australia in 2013 wearing a silver Hershey’s Kiss-inspired bikini with shiny leggings and a fringed blue wig. But she came to visit London to stand in a candy style set from her song California Girls. Her outfit changed too which was  created especially for Madame Tussauds by Katy’s own costumiers. From her 2011 California Dreams tour  she wears a heart shaped tutu-style dress, with sequin encrusted candy-striped corset and multicolored polka-dot gloves.
She’s also had a number of costume changes and appeared at different locations including New York in another outfit from Her California Dreams tour.
