I was spoilt for musical choice today, as the stations A-list has some absolute corkers within it; which complemented some of the new tracks I had lined up- love it when a plan comes to hand. As it had been a solar eclipse I asked the question in my chatty bit about those moments in life that they hype up and say you can miss them.

My news story of the week combines asian culture with a 1970’s rock classic Layla. As well as some great music we spoke of the fact that this month signifies the 25th anniversary of the release of Violator by Depaeche Mode, and my future studio guests… who will be putting on a tribute show of the entire album.
