Joined on by actor Fred Broom who is starring as Bernard in Boeing! Boeing! at The Queens Theatre Hornchurch.

Boeing! Boeing!

A flight path to comic catastrophe…

The hilarious classic farce Boeing! Boeing! will tickle everyone’s funny-bone when it lands at the Queen’s Theatre on 6 March, and runs until 28 March.

It’s the swinging sixties and bachelor Bernard couldn’t be happier: a luxury flat in Paris and three gorgeous air hostesses all engaged to him without knowing anything about each other.

But there’s turbulence ahead when Bernard’s hapless friend Robert comes to stay and throws off him right off course!

Suddenly, all three ladies are in town at once and wheeling their suitcases to their fiance’s place. But Robert gets his stories muddled up and Bernard’s careful planning is headed for a crash!

Grab your passports, fasten your seatbelts, sit back and enjoy some in-flight entertainment with the hostesses with the mostest… a farce of the highest altitude!

Boeing! Boeing! stars the Queen’s resident ensemble of actors cut to the chase…, with comedy favourite Fred Broom playing Bernard. Audiences will know and love Fred from his starring roles in the most recent pantomime Sleeping Beauty and last season’s hit Lend Me a Tenor.

He is joined by a bevy of beauties – Ellie Rose Boswell, who appeared in nearly every Queen’s production last spring; Sarah Mahony, who audiences will also recognise from Lend Me a Tenor; the newest addition to the cut to the chase… family, Joanna Hickman; Megan Leigh Mason, who starred as the Good Fairy Primrose in Sleeping Beauty; and Tom Cornish, currently superbly chilling everyone to the bone in Deadly Murder.

Boeing! Boeing! was written by French playwright Marc Camoletti. Ever since its first English language outing in 1962, it has enjoyed consistent success, both in the West End and on Broadway, on tour and in Singapore – it’s even been listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s most performed French play. It has received Tony and Drama Desk awards as well as nominations for several Olivier Awards.

This production is directed by Queen’s Associate Director Matt Devitt, with design by Norman Coates and lighting design by Dan Crews.

Boeing! Boeing! runs at the Queen’s Theatre, Billet Lane, Hornchurch, from 6 – 28 March. Tickets cost £16.50 – £26.50. Call the Box Office on 01708 443333 or book online at
