On a cold winter’s night in Islington I was treated to interviewing hot new band The Riptide Movement and witnessing them live at their sold out show in The Islington. Off the back of Supporting The Rolling Stones – yes that’s right! THE ROLLING STONES! – and their new album ‘Getting Through’ going gold in the Irish charts they have now set their sights on UK stardom and with their previous achievements it’s hard to see anyone getting in their way.
Above the lads perform their UK debut single ‘All Works Out’ which is a chiming, singalong anthem of positivity. Watching this live you really cant help but get involved and their stage presence is electric! The song has already garnered a number of awards including: the most played song on Irish radio in 2014, voted Song Of The Summer on Today FM and has over 250,000 views on YouTube. I caught up with the guys before the show which you can check out in the link at the top. I would keep an eye on this lot as over the next 12 months they will be soaring.
The Riptide Movement’s single ‘All Works Out’ is released on March 9th, with the album ‘Getting Through’ following in the summer.
