Nazi Cows – Yawohl!

Nazi cattleOn today’s show we learnt about problems resulting from the decision by a farmer to import a herd of cattle that had been created at the behest of Nazi officials. The breed thus created exhibited excessive ferocious Aryan characteristics,  rooted in runes, folklore and legend – something truly primeval. So vicious were they that anyone venturing close to them was at risk of their life. Half a dozen of the most aggressive animals have ultimately ended their days as sausages but undaunted the farmer still intends to try to breed a new batch for meat. Anyone for Third Reich sausages?

Following her Christmas and New Year break, today saw the return of Margaret Mills to the show. Her tale today concerned the Essex (c) Bront렐arsonage Museum; Supplied by The Public Catalogue Foundationconnection with the Bronte sisters.
