Yeah if you missed all the mayhem of “BLACK FRIDAY” today is “CYBER MONDAY” so you can do it all over again – but this time on line. But enough of that! So far as I am concerned this is “MAXIMUM MUSIC MONDAY” so today’s show was literally brimming with one great song after another – BUT we still had time to look at the lighter side of life. For example we enjoyed the discomfort of the airline passenger who found himself sitting next to a woman nursing a 70-pound pot bellied pig which, although tethered to his arm rest managed to go foraging around the cabin, creating both mayhem and very unsociable honks – or should that be “OINKS”?

Meanwhile pigs were put to a different use in Brazil where as part of a promotion for a new brand of sausage, a butcher pretended to convert live animals into sausages. After offering customers the chance to sample the new product, he placed a live pig inside a mock meat grinder. After much clunking of machinery, no doubt accompanied by squealing from the pig, a woman hidden inside the fake machine removed the pig and pushed ready-made sausages out from the other end. Reports do not make it clear just how much success was achieved by this unusual marketing ploy!
