This week was my first time in the studio on my own and there were no techincal disasters!
I talked about all sorts this week, including why Billy Joel is the coolest guy on the Planet (6th best selling recording artist in the World – beating MJ!).
We also tried our hand at ‘Mass PMA’ – a group attempt at having a positive mental attitude towards the week ahead. I figured that if one person has a good positive mental attitude is apparently helps to achieve, by visualising themselves doing well; be it a presentation at work, impressing that person on a date or even telling a really good joke with your mates. PMA is all about making things happen. So what would happen if the whole of Phoenix FM thought like this? Would this work even better – will we all have a really great week? … I guess we will have to wait and find out next Sunday how we all got on….
On Saturday I was a Poppy-planting volunteer at the Tower of London. Nearly 9 Hundred Thousand hand-made clay poppies are being placed in the moat of the Tower of London to commemorate the fallen soliders of World War 1. It was an honour and a privilege to be a part of this.
