On Friday evening I may made the rather pleasant journey to Dalston, bound for a venue called The Shacklewell Arms, to catch a show by a band I’ve been wanting to see live for a while, Mazes. It was the album launch for their latest release Wooden Aquarium (a record you need to pick up the next time you visit your local music emporium). Not only did they play a rather storming set containing hits old and new, but Jack and Conan were kind enough to sit down with me for a chat about the new album, lots of snow, touring and U2.
A special mention to the supports Feature and Moon Gangs, who were both excellent and helped make a rather special night of live music.
