That Was The Firewalk – Now it’s Time for a Tea Party!

So last Saturday evening was a great evening here at the Brentwood Centre, with crowds enjoying music, conversation, food and drink and walking on fiery hot coals!

It was of course the Brentwood Community Firewalk.

The event was a great success and Joining me to talk about it today was organiser Jane Bennett from Bennett’s Funeral Directors.

You can find out how many people took part, how much money is expected to be raised and whether this great community event is likely to be repeated, by listening to our chat again here –

So on the 31st May it’s time for tea! Here are the full details –

Also, last Thursday I spoke to Jo Kemp and Jessica Livingstone from the Brentwood Yoga and Wellbeing Studio about their Yogathon in aid of Brentwood Mind

Well ONE hundred people turned up for the event last Saturday and helped raise a massive amount for the charity.

The mass yogathon on Shenfield Common, organised by the Brentwood Yoga and Wellbeing Studio, raised £2,500 for Brentwood Mind – a charity supporting people with mental health issues. A brilliant result – well done to everyone involved.
