Currently on the UK leg of her promotional tour, Dorine Levy was my guest on this weeks Sunday Lunch Show.
Dorine who lives in Tel Aviv Israel but originates from Montreal in Canada, is over in the UK to promote her new Album `Underwater`
Dorine was on route to London, having played at Liverpool LSC 1-3th of May, when she took a small diversion to pop in to the phoenix fm studio`s, as she was due at 3pm at Westfield, Shepherds Bush for a performance that night (4th May)
The rest of her UK leg includes , London at The Garage 5th of May, before moving on to Toronto and CMW 6-10th of May.
The opening track ‘There For Me’ on the album called ` Underwater, was never officially released as a single, but as a video on Youtube gained thousands of views in a few days ,which got the attention of MTV and entered MTV’s boutique play list, alongside Tegan and Sara and Disclosure and now ‘There For Me’ has been selected to lead the global advertising campaign of Forever 21

Dorine Levy
Dorine first started at the ripe young age of 16 years when she produced/performed on the lead single for the ambient ‘Nine Beach’ compilation with a song entitled- “La Mort”, selling over 50,000 units world wide. your 2008 debut EP soon followed with the track “Falling Star” which was picked up by international fashion brands including, H&M, Zara, River Island, etc. for national campaigns; and in turn she got selected as the ‘top 5 International acts’ category at the Australian Music Awards (MTV Australia) in 2010.. An incredible accolade, especially since she had never set foot in the continent before.
