Are we back in the nuclear race?

It was a real privilege to be deputising for Mikey Porter on today’s show, but fear not the man himself returns tomorrow from 3pm.

Well mercifully the question above does not refer to the arms race BUT the mud and obstacle race taking place on Sunday the 11th May at the Secret Nuclear Bunker.

IMG_0309On today’s show I got to chat with two local councillors – Jan Pound and Vicky Davies – who are deeply involved in these so-called nuclear races . Whilst unable for health reasons to enter the event itself both Councillors are sponsoring people able to enter and Cllr Vicky Davies is also looking after the first aid. A number of Councillors from all parties have bravely agreed to take part and Jan and Vicky also brought two young guys from FITNESS IN MIND  –  Sam Booker and Jason West who have entered the 6km event which involves over 50 man-made and natural obstacles including tyre pits, wall ramps, lakes, ditches, bomb holes and, of course, mud aplenty! Listen again to my conversation with them all here: – Nuclear Race

Rather them than me!

See you again soon,

Scott
