Following on from his successful 50-mile Boot It For Bobby walk from Southend United to West Ham United in February, 12-year-old Jonjo is organising the event at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday 26 April from the top of the stand named in honour of England’s greatest captain – although being aged under 18, he’s unable to take part himself. It’s the latest in a series of fundraisers that has seen Jonjo raise over £160,000 for the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK.

Jonjo said, “I’m really looking forward to the day and hope as many people as possible can enter. Those taking part will be able to enjoy spectacular views across London from the roof area, while friends and family are welcome to come along to spectate.”

It’s not too late to join the abseillers – you can find out more about it at www.fornannyandbobby.moonfruit.com. A non-refundable registration fee of £10 is payable to secure a place and medical clearance may be required for those taking part.
