It’s Time To Talk

Thursday this week has been designated TIME TO TALK DAY and I was joined today by Mark Dale and Wayne
Banks from the Basildon & South of England Disability Equality Forum, to explain what this event is all about. This is going to be a really special event in which you can also take part. To learn more listen again to my chat with Mark and Wayne here: –Time to Talk interview

matthew-hopkinsLater in today’s programme, our ESSEX TALES feature looked at some of the activities of Matthew Hopkins, the Witchfinder General back in 1645. Another pretty horrifying story. If you missed it you can catch it again here: –Essex Tales 4th February

On a lighter note we enjoyed the discomfort of a TV interviewer who carried out a live interview using a wooden mallet rather than a microphone and of the BBC’s Chinese New Year gaffe. Other people’s misfortunes are always funnier than one’s own, I always think.

Mallet versus mic

year-of-the-whores

Right see you next week,

Scott
