Southend United 4-1 Millwall
Stoke City 2-1 Leicester City
West Bromwich Albion 0-2 Crystal Palace
Wigan Athletic 3-3 MK Dons
Yeovil Town 4-0 Leyton Orient
Arsenal 2-0 Tottenham

The scores were coming in thick and fast in all the matches, with real interest in the Southampton v Burnley game and respect to MK Dons, earning a home replay to Wigan in the 6 goal thriller. Cardiff’s first match under new management saw them take the spoils and entry into the 4th round at St James’ Park.

The match that had us talking most was the game at Roots Hall. Floodlight failure and late threats of abandoning the game due to the weather didn’t stop Southend beating opposition from 2 leagues above in the match which ended after the Arsenal SPurs match started.

Leyton Orient didn’t manage to grab any headlines at Yeovil.

The Ryman League programme had very few fixtures surviving the weather, but both Brentwood and Billericay didn’t come home empty handed as they earnt hard fought draws.

Maidstone United 1-1 Hendon
Thamesmead Town 3-3 Billericay Town

Dereham Town 2-2 Brentwood Town
Soham Town Rangers 4-1 Redbridge
