With all the schools broken up and Christmas only five days away, thoughts turned to the Christmas songs that we love and that bring back so many memories. So the music tonight was non-stop Christmas, with one requested exception. We heard from the Ingatestone C. of E. Juniors singing two items and a few little interviews that I recorded during the week. We also heard from the Anglo European School chamber choir, recorded yesterday in Ingatestone Parish Church. News items included the longest cracker-pull in the world, over 700 people, and children being given lie-detector tests before seeing Father Christmas at Brent Cross.
