It was great to joined in the studio tonight by Liz. She has been a governor at Ingatestone and Fryerning C.of E. Junior School since 1967 and retired from the role this summer. She told us about how she originally became invovled and the roles that she has undertaken during the forty six years. She also brought in three tracks for us to hear tonight and explained the memories attached to them. We had instant e-mails saying how interesting was the interview and also that Liz had great taste in music. There were requests tonight from Geoff & Catherine, Patrick, Michael, Ed, Derek and Lee. In the second hour we had news stories relating to a Good Samaritan in Canada who films himself from his motor bike helmet helping people, a charity in L.A. that had computers stolen and then retunred by the thieves when they realised it was a charity, the opening of the cardboard cathedral in Christ Church New Zealand and a zoo in China that had a dog in a cage labelled as a lion and other miss-named exhibits. Lee in the chat-room chipped in, asking if there was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He also said there was probably a chamaelian but no-one could see it. The full track lising for tonight is below.
