10 Things We Have Learned In The Past Couple Of Weeks

Well, what have we learned?

1.  That the will of the Brentwood public will ensure that parking charges will be what they always should’ve been in the first place.

2.  That as soon as Wimbledon has finished, nobody actually cares, or even remembers much, that Andy Murray won.

3.  You can’t book a room for love nor money on a Friday at the Holiday Inn by the Brook Street roundabout.  Well, actually, you can apparently …..

4.  That the reformed Sugarbabes, who aren’t allowed to be called the Sugarbaes, shouldn’t also be allowed near a microphone.

5.  Crossrail is a euphemistic term for clogged up roads and broken down trains.

6.  Farmers near New Lodge back off and fall silent, if Billericay Town supporters don’t just take their aggression and rudeness, and instead tell said farmers what they think of them.

7.  The M25 is a coded term for “add at least an hour to your journey time.”

8.  Hearts may have almost gone to the wall, but Hibernian are officially the worst ever Scottish team to ever play in European competition.  Chortle.

9.  The people of Brentwood and Billericay, and everywhere in between, are a good decent sort, which makes you be proud to be a part of them.

10.  Providing them with a mix of travel, news, sport, showbiz gossip, and great music up and down the decades, between 3 and 6 every weekday afternoon, really is a privilege.  Thank you.
