Doesn’t it make you sick – you’ve been sitting at work all week looking out at all that sunshine, and come Saturday when you could get some tan on your body, we’re told it’s going to rain. But hey we got a bonus, the rain held off – well at least whilst I was on air! Well don’t get too disheartened as the sun will be back out “full throttle” tomorrow – and look on the bright side, your other half would almost certainly have wanted you to go shopping or do some chores anyway! Good time therefore to listen to the radio.
As usual we played a great selection of the latest releases coupled with a sprinkling of hits from the recent past. And talking of things past, we heard from FRANCES CLAMP, all about the FOXCROFT CHILDREN’S HOME, founded in BILLERICAY more than 70 years ago.
