A busy old time during the evening rush hour this week.  Sadly, there’s been some serious road traffic accidents, as well as severe delays on the train.  It’s been no picnic for a commuter.

This is where we try to keep things going.  As well as the latest travel bulletins, if you’re stuck in a jam, or waiting on a platform, you want great music, and a mix of news, showbiz gossip, and sport.

Latterly, Laura Robson gave us something to smile about at Wimbledon this afternoon.  So, though, did the Lions this morning!  Sort of, anyway.

As regular listeners know, there’s been full summaries from every Lions game so far, as well as after match comments from the players.  The reports come from a trusty source, the humble phone, straight after the game!

Today, the Lions rumbled onto face the Melbourne Rebels, buoyed by their win in the 1st test at the weekend.  For the last time in midweek this is how they fared.

And so, onto Saturday and the 2nd test.  To get the low down on that, you’ll have to tune into to the wonderful Steve and Between The Lines from 4pm on Saturday.  But hey, it’s been fun to have Drive invaded by Lions this summer!
