A sunny Bank Holiday – now there’s a thing!

A lovely sunny day and what’s more you are probably enjoying an extra day off. Great! A good day to laze in the garden with a bottle of wine listening to the radio and we had just the music for you today.

We also looked at a couple of news stories you might have missed. First off was the news of the 86-year old grandmother warned by police not to make cheese for the annual cheese rolling event at a hill in Gloucestershire. The lady in question had made the cheese for the last 25 years whilst the event itself has been staged annually for hundreds of years. It now seems that this is yet another event which has fallen foul of health and safety rules. Perhaps the rules should be testred against human rights to see which comes out the overall champion.
We also had news of the 4-year old boy elected mayor in a US town. Well his entertainment expenses should be low – a few burger meals and ice lollies should do the trick!

Right I’m off to enjoy the sunshine. See you again tomorrow at 1 – unless you are at work , in which case I hope to catch you on Saturday at noon.
