Sylvia Kent and Ian Yearsley talk about books ,writing and witches


Michelle was unwell so Mike Jones was in the chair and chatted to Sylvia Kent and Ian Yearsley

who is a  a writer and historian who was born in Ingatestone, Essex (UK) and now lives and works in nearby Southend-on-Sea.

He is the author of eight books about Essex history and has written the first ever historical tours of Essex and Suffolk places for iPhone.

October 2012 saw the publication of his first novel, an Essex-based supernatural witchcraft thriller entitled
‘The Curse of Cannow’s End’.

He is also the author of an epic historical poem about the Battle of Assandun (1016) and have produced two poetry collections which feature Essex places.

He is currently working on a project to uncover the history of a demolished Jacobean mansion at Marks Hall in Essex.
