Being a Monday it was time for another MAXIMUM MUSIC MONDAY edition of One-2-Three. But not just music as we also had time to look at a couple of oddball stories that might have passed you by during the last week.

The first story concerned a medium who claims to have the “inside track” on the Royal baby. Following tips she claims to have received via the sprit of Princess Diana she has placed a £50 accumulator bet on details of the forthcoming Royal birth. Based on this “information” she has bet the baby will be a girl and will be born between midnight and noon on July 1st. She has further bet that the child will weigh less than 8 pounds, have blue eyes and dark hair and have both Victoria and Diana included in her names. If her bet  comes off she stands to walk away with a cool £25000!

If you don’t fancy joining in her wager, perhaps you would like to consider joining in on a TV reality show. Now this one is a real cracker. Within the first fortnight of opening up for applications, more than 78000 hopefuls have expressed their interest and sponsors of the project confidently expect to receive over half a million applications by the deadline of 31st August. This you might think must be something you’d really not like to miss out on! Well maybe if you are happy to take a one way trip to Mars. The plan is to establish a human settlement on the Red Planet by 2023 and televise every aspect of the decade long mission. Successful candidates will have go through a two-year selection process and then endure seven years training before heading off to Mars, never to return!
