A near miss on the road this morning distracted me somewhat from today’s show, so it was good to have the calming influence of my guests Jane Ward and Rene Cantiani from the Brentwood Buddhist Community in the studio.
The Brentwood Buddhist Community was founded in May 2011 by Sifu Jane Ward. Jane was born in Brentwood, and through hardwork courage and discipline has managed to transform her life with meditation and various Buddhist practices . The Brentwood Buddhist community is continuing to grow. Their home is Merrymeade House, Brentwood which houses the Mahabodhi Temple, and the White Buddha Cafe. The teachings and practices taught at the centre are not only for those who consider themselves Buddhist but for anyone wanting direction, spiritual tools and discipline in their life.
