Phoenix FM interview with the Kaiser Chiefs

I managed to have a few words with Ricky and Simon from the Kaiser Chiefs before their sold out gig at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge.

The band are currently touring in support of Souvenir, their greatest hits album, and as you’d expect the setlist was mostly a run-through of their biggest hits including Ruby, I Predict A Riot and Never Miss A Beat, a couple of new songs in Live Underground and Saying Goodbye and even a cover of the Stranglers’ No More Heroes.

Ricky and Simon talked about the recording of their new album, not getting breakfast from Peter Gabriel … and firemen’s poles.

Keep an eye on the band’s official website about developing news on the new album (if not the other two).
