Kit Rice on the Sunday Lunch Show

Hi listeners

This week I was joined in the studio by the extremaly talented Kit Rice along with Joe Acres on acoustic guitar.

Though starting his musical journey as a classical violinist, Kit soon discovered his passion and talent for singing and songwriting.

In 2010, he graduated from the BRIT School after four years. Kit immediately embarked on a string of UK and European tours playing the violin with Brentwood folk-pop songstress Leddra Chapman, and has supported acts such as Tom Jones, Ed Sheeran and Toploader.

Alongside his blossoming career as a session musician, Kit began writing music with childhood friend Joe Acres. Their voices and styles blended perfectly and they soon recorded Kit’s first E.P, Not On My Time, which was self-produced and released on iTunes in December 2011, followed swiftly by the stunning Lies in February 2012.

Kit is currently working on his debut album “Stay Gone” which is due out this spring
