6 bands are reuniting this month, but who are they?!

90’s Bands
Boy Band Five will be taking part in a new show which see’s nineties and noughites bands who have spilt up, reunite. The programme is called the Big Reunion and will be hitting TV screens on Thursday. Other bands taking part  include Atomic Kitten, B*Witched, The Honeyz, 911 and Liberty X. Liberty X member Jessica Taylor has talked about how unsure she  was about the show saying: that it took [her] a lot of time to decide whether or not to do it as she explained saying  “I’m in a very safe place with my life, I’m in a happy little bubble and to step outside of that is really scary. I thought I owed it to the guys to make sure I was sure and I am but I’m petrified.”
Scott Robinson also talked about how he felt about appearing on the show saying he was annoyed with in a fellow band member, Jay as he didn’t want to be a part of the show.” [Scott] was really angry because [he, himself has] been trying to get this band back together for years and years and someone’s let it down. He will be missed.”
But he has also reminisced about the time the band were together and said it wasn’t easy as he explained “On stage we were the best ever, off stage we were a train wreck. Life in Five was mental. It was five years of very hard work.”.

The Mend
They mentioned back in October when they were in the studio that they are working on an album and their début single would be out early this year and now they have announced a date for the release of their first single called ‘Where Were You’. It will be out on the 24th march and the single was written by the band members themselves and will be released through their own independent label. They will be performing it when they will support Little Mix on their upcoming UK tour, which starts on January 25 and includes a date at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on February 13.
The boys have been busy and have also been working with Grammy Award-winning producer/songwriter Eliot Kennedy and Emeli Sandé  which we may see on their album.

Dancing Dog on Big Screen!
Pudsey the dancing dog and his owner Ashleigh Bulter have been very busy since winning the last series of Britain’s got talent, including doing the Gangnam dance at the NTA’s this week, but it has also been announced they are going to star in their own movie!

It’s set to start shooting in the spring and will be produced by Vertigo films along with Simon Cowell’s Syco Entertainment, responsible for TV formats such as The X Factor ans Britain’s Got Talent. Rupert Preston from Vertigo said: “We’re delighted to be developing this idea with Syco and we can’t wait to bring Pudsey to the big screen.”

Ashleigh is also very excited by this opportunity and has said she would love Kristen Stewart to be in the movie but she joked that  “she might have to be a bit happier… and nice to dogs.”

The film is set to have a Christmas 2013 release and is being produced by the same company as StreetDance 3D with Britains Got Talent stars Diversity and George Sampson.
