November again, that what you swore the time before

Getting ready for Christmas seems like everyone else’s plan- not mine thanks very much- bar humbug…lets get Movember out of the way and Then enjoy The Christmas Box…..plus loads more gigs.

Had to post up this funny find from Eddie Curry – Morgan Freeman as a young Hip dude….

My Comedy show picks for this week……

Charity Gala — Sean Lock, Micky Flanagan, Harry Hill – 12th Nov 2012 • Leicester Square Theatre
Join Sean Lock and friends (Micky Flanagan, Harry Hill, Dave Johns and more!) at the Leicester Square Theatre for a special night of comedy in aid of P.O.R.T — the Pseudo Obstruction Research Trust.

Alan Davies: “Life Is Pain” – 12th Nov 2012 • Hackney Empire
It’s been ten long years since the star of “Jonathan Creek” and “QI” last tried stand-up, but after a hugely successful tour of Australia, Alan Davies is back on stage with a brand-new show: the cheerily titled “Life Is Pain.

Chris Moyles Live – 15th Nov 2012 • O2 Empire Shepherd’s
Now that he’s been released from his BBC Radio 1 show, Chris Moyles will be off celebrating the end of an era by embarking on a UK tour. The show will be filled with music, comedy, and plenty of audience participation.

My music pick for this week;

Wed 14 Nov Ladyhawke – HMV Forum, London
Ladyhawke is a New Zealand singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
Thu 15 Nov Mark Ronson – Electric Brixton, London
A live performance from Mark Ronson, playing hip hop, rock and soul.
Sat 17 Nov Motorhead – O2 Academy Brixton, London
Lemmy’s legendary metal band performs classics from a career that spans the decades. Famously considered by their lead singer to be ‘the dirtiest rock ‘n’ roll band in the world’, they are also said to be one of the loudest live acts around.
Sat 17 Nov The Vaccines – Alexandra Palace, London
Formed in June 2010, the band consists of Justin Young (vocals, who previously worked under the name Jay Jay Pistolet, playing indie folk), Anri Hjorvar (bass), Freddie Cowan (guitar, younger brother of Tom from The Horrors) and Pete Robertson (drums).
