Before we go any further I must nail my colours to the mast and say that the despicable act of naming any 3, 4, 5 or any other limited track CD as an “EP” is something that I do not condone. The perpetrators know who they are so it is not necessary for me to name names … Knifeworld, The Fierce and the Dead, Trojan Horse spring to mind though.

However, what’s done is done so as an apology for this underhandedness one of the three unnamed bands, Trojan Horse have signed a copy of their latest “EP” CD “Fire”and have offered it as a prize!
It’s been a long time since we’ve given out a prize on the IAS so as you can imagine it will be big news on the Prog scene and the competition to win it will be stiff.

I don’t know about you but I hate the type of TV money generating raffle that purports to be a quiz. eg

This would be a mindless and unrewarding way of winning a Trojan Horse limited length EP CD
So I’ve thought of a slightly more challenging set of questions that will make you do a certain amount of investigation and also (should you be the lucky winner) make you really treasure this 29 minute epic. It shouldn’t be too hard to crack but the band will appreciate that the winner certainly wasn’t a computer software programme written by some geek who likes nothing more than to trawl the web stealing prizes from right under the mouse of real fans.
