In The Mix was also extended an hour this week so there was lots of Celebrity gossip which can be read below…

Back Street’s Back!
The four current member’s of Backstreet Boys, Brian Littrell, A.J. McLean, Howie Dorough and Nick Carter reunited  with original fifth member Kevin Richarson back in April of this year and they are now gearing up to release their latest album. They are living in a house together in London while they work on new material for the album which is due out next year.
Dorough has said that the group will experiment with their sound, but insists they are ‘not going to be doing rock or rap’.
They will also be performing at the Good Morning America’s summer concert, which will take place in Central park, after they make their first television appearance as a reformed five-piece on the TV programme on the 31st August.

Pepper Potts Suit
Big news for marvel and iron man fans has appeared this week. It is well known that Iron Man as a number of suits that he has created over his past two films and it has now been revealed there is the idea of possibly his assistant, Pepper Potts, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, may be getting a suit for herself in the third Iron Man film.
In the comics, The Invincible Iron Man, Pepper Potts calls herself Rescue when wearing her suit, and at the recent Comic con which took place last weekend filmmakers hinted they would like to see her have her own suit and the Director of the first two Iron Man films, Jon Favreau said they ‘almost did it a few times; [they] talked about it a lot”. So though it is not fully confirmed yet, do keep an eye out for it in Iron Man 3 which is currently in production and will be in cinemas on May 3rd 2013.

Olly Falls for Fans
Usually Olly Murs has many girls falling for his looks and cheekiness but last weekend it was him doing the falling as he tripped down some stairs while performing at GuilFest.
He was singing Stevie Wonder’s ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours’ when he fell and it has ended up on youtube as Olly predicted, he explained that on stage he had said ‘I bet someone has got this on video and it’s going to be straight on YouTube’.”Then the next morning my management said they’d found it already, it’s so funny”.

Even though he finds its funny, Robbie Williams sent him a clip of him falling over to make him feel better. The clip shows Robbie falling over live on TV, in front of 24 countries and around 300 million people.

Worst lyrics

The Global Gathering Festival has done a survey recently for the worst lyrics in dance music. With words used that are a bit random and do not make much sense the top ten include rhythms and repetition.

At number ten it’s the Audio Bullys song ‘Snake’ with the lyrics going “Head to hat, tape to that, tells a cat, snares a slack Red to pink, plate to, zinc smells a stink, edge to brink.”

At 9 it’s ‘One To One’ by Azealia Banks singing “I can freak a fit that pump with the peep”.

‘Rhythm Is a Dancer’ comes in at number 8 by Snap with “I’m as serious as cancer, when I say rhythm is a dancer”.

A collaboration with The Tamperer and Maya is at number 7 with their song ‘Feel It’ singing  “What’s she gonna look like with a chimney on her?”

A more recent song which sings  “Your ass from the side looks just like a coke bottle” it is of course ‘Troublemaker’ by Tiao Cruz at number 6.

Nicki Minaj is number 5 with ‘Starships’ as she raps “Jump in my hooptie hooptie hoop I own that”.

The famous line sang by Tine Tempah “I’ve been to Southampton but I’ve never been to Scunthorpe” in ‘Pass Out’ is 4th.

Kicking off the top three is the Venga Boys’ 1998 song ‘Up and Down’  which simply just keeps repeating the title of the song. “Up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down etc ”

2nd is Scooter with their song ‘Nassaja’ singing “It’s not a bird, it’s not a plane. It must be Dave who’s on the train”

And at number one, voted the worst lyrics and most ridiculous to a dance song is The Black Eyed Peas with their 2005 hit ‘My Humps’ with the chorus one again repeating the title of the song and adding ‘my lovely little lumps’ to the end.
