After a run-out for trialists in their 5-2 win over Waltham Forest, the New Lodge outfit have had their pre-season severely disrupted by the, ahem, changeable weather conditions this summer. Matches at Great Wakering Rovers and Heybridge Swifts have fallen foul of the weather.
It’s a vital time for Craig Edwards’ side, too, with a tough Conference South season ahead of them, so gaining match fitness and team spirit after the summer break is that much more vital.
Never fear, though, for Billericay Town still have plenty of friendlies to play before the big kick-off, If you fancy seeing your local Conference South club in pre-season action, here’s their upcoming games:
