Starting July off with Sunshine, shouldn’t be a novelty, but it would seem, so as i was feeling melancholic I decided that ‘Twofers today would feature two from Nirvana – ‘In Bloom’ & ‘Lithium’

Its all systems go in the studio today, and despite a small audio cliche at the start, we got hear from Singer Songwriter Neil Gahan:

My Comedy show picks for this week……

Face-to-Face, with Julian Clary – 9th July 2012 • Arts Theatre

Julian Clary might have turned 50, but happily he shows no signs of growing up. Tonight’s event will be an on-stage interview with a mix of witty stories, innuendo (probably) and fascinating facts about his life.

Phill Jupitus, at the Comedy Store – 11th July 2012 • Comedy Store

Phill Jupitus will be joining the Comedy Store Players for a night of comedy improvisation. Other comedians on the bill include Richard Vranch, Neil Mullarkey, Andy Smart, Stephen Frost and Steve Steen.

Dave Gorman’s Powerpoint Presentation – 14th July 2012 • Bloomsbury Theatre

After the tremendous success of his “Googlewhack” and “Are You Dave Gorman?” shows, Dave Gorman is back with the most exciting one yet… “Powerpoint Presentation”.

My music pick for this week;

Tue 10 Jul

Faith No More – O2 Academy Brixton, London

Legendary American rock-metal group from San Francisco who have reformed to play once again in front of their worldwide fanbase.

Wed 11/12 Jul

Queen + Adam Lambert – HMV Hammersmith Apollo

A night of live music from Queen and Adam Lambert

Wed 11 Jul

The Temper Trap – Somerset House, London

An atmospheric rock band from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in 2005, the band found worldwide success after prominent spots on festival line-ups including Reading and Leeds and South By Southwest.

Fri 13 Jul

The Enemy – Somerset House, London

Chart-friendly proletarian rock from The Enemy.
