Mike Summers – Live Session & Interview – 10/06/12

For this weeks show I was joined live in the studio by local singer-songwriter Mike Summers, who a couple of months ago played a brilliant set at the first 33RPM night that took place in Southend.
We had a chat about his music, his passion for music and his new band that he is putting together and a lot more.
He also played 3 songs for us live which you can hear below.

What really came across (along with his talent), is the drive and determination that he has and I’m sure we will be hearing a lot more from him in the future.
If you want to hear more from Mike and keep upto date with gig news there is his Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/MusicMikeSummers and also check out some live videos on his Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/MikeSummersLive.
He has a show planned with the new band at Chinnerys Southend on Saturday July 7th. I’ll definitely be there!
The rest of the shows playlist came from some of my (and a little help from Mike) favourite singer-songwriters.
